Canvas Printing - Frequently Asked Questions

COVID-19 UPDATE: We have now reopened. Please expect a delay with delivery times. Please contact us at as call wait times may be higher as we are working with a reduced team.

Q: I’m having trouble uploading my image. What should I do?

We hope you’ll find our website user friendly but if you do need any help, call us on 0844 272 0050 or 0344 272 0050 and we’ll be happy to assist.

Q: How do I know if my image is the right quality for a canvas print?

The quality rating will give you an idea of how suitable your photo will be for printing on canvas. Your image will be rated out of ten, we do not recommend anything under 5/10 and suggest that you exercise caution when placing an order with a low score.

Q: What is the minimum file size required for my photo canvas?

Your image should be at least 1MB in size to ensure your canvas doesn't look pixelated or blurry in any way.

Q: What unit of measurement do you use?

All our sizes are listed in inches.

Q: Will my finished canvas look like the image on my computer screen?

We use state-of-the-art printers so you get the best quality canvas. However, every computer screen displays images differently and may not reflect colours accurately so you may find a slight difference in the finished product.

Q: Will I lose some of my image if I choose a thicker frame?

You can choose from two frame options - 18mm or 38mm in depth. If you’re worried about losing any part of your photo we recommend you select a white edge finish for your canvas.

Q: What’s the difference between Gallery Wrap and White Edge?

Gallery wrap means your image will be folded around the frame. White edge means your image will stop at the front edge of the frame, so the fold will be white - this is a good choice when your subject is close to any of the edges of your photo.

Q: Why is it more expensive for a White Edge finish on my canvas?

A white edge canvas has to be aligned so it takes a little longer to print. We also need more time to carefully wrap your canvas around the frame as every edge has to be equal.

Q: Why should I choose the acrylic scratch resistant coating?

An acrylic scratch resistant coating will help protect your canvas from any scratches and marks. We highly recommend this option to keep your canvas looking like new.

Q: Can I have the canvas sent to another address as a gift?

Yes, no problem. Simply enter the recipient’s delivery address and we’ll send the canvas to them (without any invoices or receipts!).

Q: Why is the total in my basket more than the canvas I want to order?

Features such as a white edge and acrylic scratch resistant coating will add to your cost so please double-check if you’ve selected any of these options when placing your order.

Q: Can I make a change to my order once it's been placed?

Unfortunately we can’t make any amendments or changes to your order once you’ve submitted it.

Q: How will my canvas be sent?

We use Royal Mail to deliver our smaller canvases and Parcelforce for larger canvases.

Q: When can I expect delivery of my item?

We have three delivery options available: Economy 7-10 working days), Standard (5-7 working days), Next Working Day (orders must be placed before 1pm, 1-2 working days).  Next Working Day orders received after 1pm on Friday will not be dispatched until the following Monday. Delivery time scales are estimates, do not include weekends and/or public holidays. Delivery may take longer during busy periods. Please note that larger sizes and parcels sent during busy periods may take up to 48 Hours to arrive when ordered on a Next Day Delivery service.
